A look at the app in use
Overview
A free, private personal finance tracker that works offline-first without an account: your financial data lives on your phone. Sign in with Google only if you want to back it up to your own Google Drive and sync between phones. It speaks English and বাংলা.
Highlights
Every account together. Cash, bank accounts, cards and mobile wallets like bKash, each in its own currency, added up into one total balance.
Insights and budgets. See where the money goes each month, compare it with last month, and set budgets that warn you before you overspend.
Savings goals. Pick a date and Fyntra tells you how much to put aside each month.
Repeating transactions. Set up rent, salary or a subscription once and get a reminder on the morning it's due.
People and loans. Keep track of who owes you and whom you owe, and what's been paid back.
Receipt photos. Snap the receipt and keep it with the transaction.
Import and export. Bring in a CSV file from your bank or another app, and export all your transactions any time.
Private by design. No account needed, no ads or trackers. Backups go to your own Google Drive, never to a server.
My role
Solo project: the mobile app, the shared core, the sync backend and the website.
