The Brief
BAS CRM gives every appraisal firm an isolated workspace for its whole business: order intake, an eight-stage production workflow, invoicing and books, a real mail client, and AI tools for quotes, assistance and calls.
It grew out of the CRM built for Boston Appraisal Service. I'm a full-stack developer on the team building it, working across the Laravel backend and the React interface.
The Story
The Challenge
Model an entire appraisal business (orders, inspections, reviews, revisions, billing and email) and keep every firm's data in its own isolated workspace.
The Approach
Laravel and React through Inertia, real-time updates over Laravel Reverb, Stripe subscription billing, and AI for fee quotes, an assistant and a voice agent.
The Outcome
In active development since July 2026, with its public site live at crm.bostonappraisal.com.
